Catholic Women in Business hopped on the AI Barbie generator trend, and I’m kind of obsessed.
There's a lot of controversy, perhaps especially among writers, about whether we should use ChatGPT and other generative AIs. After all, we know that many of these companies have used others' intellectual property to train their AIs without permission or reimbursement. And there are other ethical issues as well.
I am definitely sympathetic to these arguments. Unfortunately, though, the cat is out of the bag. And I think it's vitally important that the "good guys" thoroughly understand AI, because we know the "bad guys" do.
Catholic women in business, are you learning about this technology? You don't have to use it, but I believe you have to understand how it works (at least on a basic level) and how it can be used, for good or ill.
There's no going back, so let's make sure there are people of character and integrity involved in going forward.
